sickle bar mowers simply

HEUMA BM blade mowers are simple bar mowers with fixed fingers and a movable blade. The simple design makes the blade mower a reliable and cost-effective mower for meadows and pastures or for landscaping. The 3-point hitch is also suitable for small tractors and can be used universally with a 540 rpm PTO drive. A single-acting hydraulic connection is sufficient for folding in for road transport or lifting the blade mower when working.

BM mower technology in detail

The mower's eccentric drive is built to be particularly sturdy, the rotating parts are ball-bearing mounted and the eccentric parts are fitted with rod bearings. Additional bushings ensure low wear. All bearings also have lubrication points.

The cutter bar

The cutter bar of the BM blade mower has sturdy protruding fingers that largely keep foreign objects out of the cutting area. The blades behind them are fitted with teeth, which ensures a clean cut.

The BM Messer mowers have a collision protection. If the cutter bar encounters resistance, the mower is rotated backwards. The release resistance can be adjusted using an adjustable spring.

In the working position, the hydraulic cylinder for lifting and folding the mower is in floating position. A suspension on the mower ensures optimal ground adaptation

The suspension is adjustable via an adjusting screw and hole pattern

The 3-point hitch of the BM blade mower has 4 lower link pins of category 1, which can be enlarged to category 2 using sleeves. This offers maximum flexibility when choosing the tractor.
