HEUMA mower technology

In addition to the classic finger and blade knife system, a blade knife-blade knife system can also be installed as an option. Only a few components need to be replaced.

This allows you to configure the right cutter bar depending on the application. In addition to the short blades shown in the photo, the lower blade can also be fitted with long blades including a lifting function.

Self-sharpening knives

The arrangement of the moving fingers and the blades means that the blades sharpen themselves. This function is a great advantage, especially with blade mowers, as maintenance is minimized. The blades also have teeth, which further improves the cutting quality.

The bar mowers have a collision protection device in case there is an obstacle in the grass. This prevents the cutter bar from being damaged.

The swath guide plate of the bar mower has an important function so that the cutting edge is clearly visible and the machine can drive on the cleared area without driving on the grass that has already been cut.

The drive unit of the bar mowers is designed to be particularly wear-free. Pressed-in bushings of the entire drive can also be replaced, so that the bar mowers have a long service life. In addition, the drive is flanged on both sides, which provides additional stability. The particularly long lifting rod ensures low vibrations.

Many environmental protection applications require high mowing to protect the turf and small animals and insects. To achieve this, the cutter bar is equipped with skids. Skids are optionally available in many heights. They are screwed onto the cutter bar and can be easily removed again. It is also possible to attach support wheels to achieve cutting heights of 50cm and more.

To avoid blockages in front of the drive when cutting large quantities, the HEUMA mowers can be fitted with a cutting disc on the drive. This makes cutting large quantities more comfortable.
